By purchasing from SJ Tempo, buyer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. Age Restriction.

• You must be 18 years or older and legally able to enter into contracts.

• We reserve the right to request government ID for verification of identity for transactions.

2. Warranty and Authenticity

• If watch is still under manufacturer's warranty, we encourage customers to pursue that avenue.

• If manufacturer's warranty is expired, we guarantee the watch movement for 6 months from the date of the sale.

• If the watch movement is to be repaired within this timeframe, buyer covers inbound insured shipping label. We handle the repairs and outbound shipping. Timeframe of repairs vary greatly from the complexity of the repair in question and watchmaker's availability.

• Warranty is voided due to damages caused by negligence, accidents or misuse/abuse. Warranty is also voided if any unauthorized party opens or services the watch.

3. Orders and Payment

• Wire transfer and Zelle are the preferred methods of payment. Instructions will be provided.

• Major credit cards accepted. A 4% surcharge applies to all credit card payments. ID will be requested and has to match name on the card. Electronic signature may also be required.

• Orders are handled within 24 hours of a cleared payment. If payment transaction is during the weekend, orders will be handled the following business day if payment has cleared. Exceptions apply for sourcing requests.

4. Shipping Policy

• All our prices include insured shipping.

• Shipping is handled once payment has cleared.

• All watches are shipped overnight, insured, to the nearest Fedex hold-for-pickup location. Buyer must pick up with government photo ID and sign off to receive the package. No exceptions.

• Saturday delivery is available for extra cost.

• We don't ship outside of the US.

5. Return Policy

• At SJ Tempo we strive to present every watch with honesty and integrity.

• We encourage buyers to read the product description in its entirety and look closely at the listing pictures. We use a high quality macro lense that accentuates many details of the watch. If further clarification is needed, please don't hesitate to reach out.

• You may return a watch within 24 hours of signed pick up for any reason. A prepaid insured shipping label will be provided along with instructions on how to ship the watch correctly. The label will be deducted from the refund price.

• Watch must be returned unworn, unaltered with all accessories and paperwork that was advertised in the original price. 

• If a watch is returned in an altered condition (scratched, broken, missing accessories, etc) the refund may be denied.

• Outside the 24-hour return window, our watches may be eligible for our buy-back program. This is a case-by-case basis. Reach out if interested or with any questions.

• Sourcing requests are not eligible for returns but may qualify for the buy-back program.

6. Taxes and Fees

• Illinois buyers are subject to a 10.25% sales tax by law.

• No sales tax is collected for buyers outside of Illinois.

7. Quotes and Buy-backs

• Quotes for buy-backs, sourcing, or any other services are subject to physical inspection and pricing may vary. 

• Once inspected and pricing is agreed upon, the offer is valid for 48 hours. 

• Trade in values are applied as credits towards a purchase.

• Deposit is required for sourcing requests. This can be cash/wire or a trade in watch.
